The stay was pleasant, clean hotel with beautiful location next to stores and the center, and the staff was helpful at all times.

I liked the convenience being on ground floor with easy access to my vehicle and main roads. I liked the cleanliness, the decor was very nice. There was a great functioning heater in the room. The bathroom plumbing was excellent and modern decor. Bedding was nice, wifi for the computer included. The motel has a nice exterior appearance. The smoking room I had smelled fresh. Very happy with my room !
The desk staff could have been friendlier. I got the impression they wanted to be undisturbed just not entirely welcoming. And it was quite on a Sunday afternoon,(check in time) and Monday evening when I requested a wake up call the person was very short and not very pleasant at all. However overall like I say I was very happy with my room. My telephone wasn't active, I had to call the front desk because I wasn't able to get an outside line as it was a constant busy signal. Readily rectified with a quick call. I wasn't given government rate with the room either. The desk clerk told me since I booked online( didn't pay until check in however!) the government rate couldn't be subtracted from the cost of my 2 night stay... Oh well..

For the price, the value at Red Carpet was great - clean sheets, new mattress, and everything in the room worked. The staff was fantastic, with a friendly and helpful front desk attendant who made our stay smooth and efficient.
The only thing that could make the breakfast better is if they offered decaf coffee for those who can't drink regular. Everything else was great.

the accomodations were better than I had expected for the price. The bathroom was a special surprise, the marble tiles were beautiful. I definitely would stay at a Red Carpet Inn again. The bed was comfortable, the staff friendly. I had nothing to complain about

Pleasant stay, as always. Stunningly beautiful and quiet hotel, my favorite in Albany. Absolutely perfect and beautiful location, very close to the airport. Very close to the Times Union Center, downtown Albany, and Palace Theater downtown.

I guess I got what I paid for, a $55 dump. The place was a mess; the floor was dirty, the ceiling was buckled in two spots (looked like a water leak above), the bed had hair in it, the furnature (which the clerk said was new) was dirty and the final straw, when I looked at the ceiling (in the morning) there was a blood splatter. Did I complain, no I just left and will never go to another Red Carpet Inn.

Every time I visit Albany, I always stay at this place. the hotel is stunningly beautiful and quiet. - the staff is decent. - the rooms are cheap and reasonably large, equipped with a microwave and refrigerator. - the property has a nice bar.

my room did not have sufficient lighting. one of the lamps was fused! i was there for 2 days and nobody came to change the linen. i reached at 2:30 PM and i as told to wait till 3:00 PM to check in. even at 3:00 PM, the room was not available and i was asked to wait for another 15 min and the man at the counter was not apologetic in the least. This is dismal service!

comfortable bed, clean room, great for a one night stay in transit, close to downtown Albany but not in the busy center. Microwave, fridge, and clean bathtub were a plus. Will definitely consider staying here again.
No coffee in the room.
